We do also include the full jpegs for poster printing.Īnyway, I'm sorry that you had trouble with this :( Let me know if your pdf did have missing pages or something and we can help out. It should have looked like this, with the maps split into A4 pages: See more the overviews? Was your pdf missing pages? I'm just wondering - did you look through the full pdf, or just the first pages with. So, I am a little confused that you've asked for a product where the maps are tiled to print across A4 pages, when the pdf literally is that :) You'd just need to scale the pages to 91% of the original (as described in the instructions) to get 1" squares. As mentioned on the very first page of the pdf, the default size of the square is 28mm but if you want 1" squares then print these at 91% scale. The pdf contains, after the overview page, tiled pages where the levels are cut up and spread across multiple A4 pages. So, there's no need to try and scale that up to a full sized battlemap. Sorry to hear you've had trouble printing this.įirst, page 2 of the pdf is labelled on the page as 'Overview' and is never intended to be printed as the full sized map - it's just to show you what the level looks like. Until then, I’ll be drawing my own maps again. Would it be possible to produce a product that is already tiled to print to the most common printer form-factor of A4 paper size? $70 for an hour of my player’s time? Sure I can reuse it.īy now I am at the point where I should have just drawn my own maps in about an hour. Sure, I could go to my local print store and print the images to an A3 format colour poster at the cost of 10 Aussie dollarydos each. So after two days of attempted printing, I realise that this wizard tower will be, maybe, an hour of my players time. Maybe I could print these to the appropriate scale and tile them?Īfter a day using three different image programs, I downloaded an app called PosteRazor. Then I spent a day looking at the images that come with the product. I tried some guessing for about a half a day. Then to print to tiles, across multiple A4 pages, is more guesswork. To get this PDF page to scale correctly is guesswork. So this image, if printed on an A4 page will not provide one inch squares. I note for clarity that an A4 page is 8 ¼ by 11 ¾ inches. of the PDF shows a battlemap that is 20 inches square. I wanted a quick and easy to use alternative to me drawing my own battlemaps. I was looking for a product that was ready to print on my home A4 laser printer.
